Joe Grider, Senior Field Reprentative, is a registered commodities representative (broker) and a licensed insurance agent.

He was born and raised on a farm in Sibley, IL in Ford County.

Joe earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Agricultural Finance. When at the U of  I, Joe took part in internships at South Farm at the U of  I, and FC Stone.

Joe was chosen to be a participant of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program, traveling to Brazil and Argentina in February 2010 where he was provided a first hand look at the culture, trade, security, religion, agriculture, geography, education, and government of these South American countries. The Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program is a two year program designed to encourage future agricultural leaders in the state.

He has been employed as a Risk Management Specialist since 2003, first with Decision Commodities and in 2009 with AgriVisor.

Joe works with clients to develop marketing alternatives to enhance their bottom line through conservative and aggressive strategies while concentrating on risk management using cash, options and futures contracts.
